Artemis Retreats at Oikonomou House is a family run business created through the love for art, writing and well being. Hydra island has always been the home of many artists and writers. Artemis Retreats is built on bringing artist and lovers of art back to the island and building a wonderful community and of course providing a fantastic holiday experience.
Yoga
Yoga Teacher: Skyrah Archer
Skyrah, the founder of Artemis Retreats, has been practicing yoga since she was a young girl. She completed her training after graduation and has been teaching since. She teaches many styles but her passion is Vinyasa flow. She has taught beginners as well as advanced students and her soothing voice is perfect for a relaxed and meditative class, after which your mind will be free and inspired for sketching and art.
Art
Art Teacher: Angelika Lialios Freitag
Angelika is an artist who's lived in Hydra for 10 years. She fell in love with Greece and its beautiful landscape the moment she first moved there and loves to sketch the seashells, rocks, houses, painted house doors, and flowers. She has a passion for nature and wildlife and loves to share that with her students. Her enthusiastic and natural way of teaching is inspiring and uplifting. www.angelikalialios.com
Writing
Writing Teacher:
Kai Knight started writing in 2010 after graduating from Durham University with a degree in English Literature. Since then, Kai has completed her first novel Blue Out, a collaboration, published under the nom de plume Miranda Storm. Kai has completed two other novels, about to be published. A sports enthusiast, Kai loves scuba diving, rock climbing, kung fu and horse riding and particularly enjoys writing action scenes for young adults.

Yoga Teacher
Yoga Teacher: Pagona Paraskevi
Pagona has been practicing and teaching yoga for many years. She specialises in Yin yoga and wonderfully peaceful meditation. Her classes will transport you to another world where you can rest and leave all your worries behind.
